The Museum Studies program offers a choice of entry points. The graduate-level certificate program consists of four museum studies courses and a practicum, which you can pursue at your own pace and pay for by course.
The master's programs combine museum studies courses with additional graduate study:
- Master of Arts in Art History and Museum Studies through the Department of History of Art and Architecture
- Master of Arts in History and Museum Studies through the Department of History
- Master of Arts degree in Museum Education through the Department of Education
- MFA and Museum Studies through School of Museum Fine Arts at Tufts
Each MA program has its own requirements, but all programs include both required and elective museum studies courses. All are designed as two-year, full-time programs, but some departments may offer other options.
