Welcome to Museum Studies

As one of the oldest museum studies programs in the nation, our courses at Tufts offer an interdisciplinary approach that prepares you for a variety of positions in art, history, science and children's museums.

Overview >

The museum studies program offers a choice of entry points. The graduate-level certificate program consists of five museum studies courses (including an internship), which you can pursue at your own pace and pay for by course. The two-year graduate programs in art history, history, and education combine museum studies courses with additional graduate study.
